Finding Your Calling

finding your calling

I remember feeling like I would never figure out what I want my business to look like and, yes, there were times when I wanted the throw in the towel completely.

Luckily I stuck with it – although it did take time for me to really analyse what I enjoyed doing, what I did right, what I excelled at and what made me feel genuinely fulfilled and excited to get into my work day.

It’s interesting because I recommend to my clients to give themselves 12-month targets because it’s enough time to analyse results and real progress really will only happen every 12 months.

I realised the other day that I’m at 12-months of business, hitting my goals, expanding and kicking general ass if I can say that proudly – because it was a damn struggle to get here.

I still have a long way to go of course because I’ve decided I want to expand my business further. And I think I can do it.

What I’m trying to say is – your business will constantly change and evolve. No matter where you’re at.

If you find hiccups along the way or uncertainty about where you’re at or where you’re going… know that these experiences are very common and, in fact, really important for business owners to experience.

If we didn’t worry about our business, where we’re at and where we’re going, it would mean we didn’t truly and deeply care about what we do.

Those are the signs to look for that tell you that you’re moving in the right direction.

You’ve found your calling.
